National Trust: Fountains Abbey

Dave and I went to National Trusts Fountains Abbey. We took the dogs with us. It took just under an hour for us to get there. We spent around 3 hours walking around, having little stops and enjoying ourselves.

This is where I tell myself off for not having put sunscreen on. I have burnt shoulders, upper arms and back of my neck. It’s been nice to have a day together to go exploring.

Fountains Abbey is somewhere we’ve been before. Think it’s nearly a couple of years since. Last time I don’t think we took the dogs. We saw more this time too. It’s somewhere I’d like to go again. There are still areas we haven’t seen yet.

Tomorrow is the start of a new week. Will see if we hear anything regarding the house. Tomorrow also brings a day trip to York with Daves parents. I’m looking forward to it.
