It was the girls night out this evening. Myself, my mum, B and her mum we went to see Steps!
I’ve always liked Steps. I grow up with their music. Even saw them when I was a kid in concert. All I remember about that was H flying around on a big letter H.
We all had a good night. We had a good seat. I believe no matter where you were in the seating area you could see the stage perfectly.
I’ve been more mindful and enjoying the experiences I’ve had this week. It’s been great taking it all in rather than having my phone in between me and where I’m at.
OMG! What a night!
I’ve laughed, cried, danced and sang my heart out. All thanks to Demi Lovato concert in Manchester with my best mate, E.
I’ll be surprised if I have a voice in the morning. But it was worth it. I’d do it all again.
Below is all the photos I took, as I wanted to be in the moment, enjoy every moment of it.
I 100% did.
When she’s next back in town, I’d love to go again.
I can’t wait. In 2 days my best mate is coming to stay. We’re off to see Demi Lovato in concert.
From the sounds of it my friend, E has been having a bad time of it. Effecting her mental health. It will be good to have a proper catch-up. It’s been nearly 2 years since we last saw each other.
We write to one another regularly. E and I met in year 7; we were in the same form at school and did ICT together. Out of all our school friends, we’ve stuck around for one another.
At the right time, I want to ask her to be my maid of honour. It will be long overdue when we see each other. The eeks are bubbling.
“If today was your last day,
And tomorrow was your last day,
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last?
Leave old pictures in the past,
Donate every dime you have?
Would you call old friends you never see?
Reminisce old memories,
Would you forgive your enemies?
Would you find the one you’re dreamin’ of?
Swear up and downto God above,
That you finally fell in love
If today was your last day” — Nickleback
I would want to gather all my loved ones together and have some fun. Whether it was having a film day, game day (card or board games for the win), pig out on food, have a few drinks, smile, laughter and joy.
I’d wanna spend my last day with the people who make me happy. Have no worries, problems or have no urge to micromanage.
Calm. Ease. Happiness. Fun. Laughter. Positivity. Love.
A few words I want my life to be about.
If today was your last day, What would you do?
I’ve always, as far as I can remember, listened to Capital FM. It’s my car radio station of choice. I’ve never been to any of their events. Even though I have wished.
That changed last Wednesday, 8th November. B & I went to the Meadowhall Christmas Live Concert. It was amazing. Being among 15,000 others, enjoying their evening of music was electric.
On a cold, November evening, the dancing and singing made you feel warm. I hope it can do it again. I may not have a voice in the morning. My phone died. But it was worth it!!
Here’s a slideshow of just a portion of the photos I took that night:
